Orbitron is very user Friendly to set up and operate for basic tracking. Has anyone interfaced Obitron with a FT847 and Yaesu Az/El rotor, I would be interested in hearing from anyone that has..best regards Frank VK5MFW

Hello Swaminathan,
have a look here about TLEs:
Orbital elements - Wikipedia

Hope this is a help for you.

I also observed the International Space Station this morning after a calculation with Orbitron. It was a cold morning, clear skies in the dawn. The ISS was very bright. WOW! I can't wait until they install an additional solar array and the Columbus module. ISS will be VERY, VERY bright.

I'm Swaminathan Balaraman from INDIA, I'm doing my Research in Spacecraft Attitude Dynamics & Control and our university is building a experimental satellite to be launched in polar orbit for that i tried your software to simulate the orbit environment like eclipse and ground tracks.

Well! i need some documentation in using your software like can i predict about visibilities, eclipse period, sun movement. etc., there can be a documentation to change the TLE data. Now manually i edit some of the existing satellite data to view ourself. I'm exploring the net to understand more about TLE data. Now i would like to create a sample TLE data for my satellite

Parameters:

Inclination: 97degrees
Altitude: 800km
Eccentricity: 0.001
Semi major axis: 7178000m

Now i have to create a sample TLE data to simulate the ground track of my satellite

can you help me,

Thanks in advance
