Orbitron will expand its support for new TLE updating situation. Up to this moment you can use Space Track TLE Retriever application provided by Dr. T.S. Kelso and available at

Oscar what do you mean by stupid names? Perhaps you could simply edit the name of the satellite in the 'catalog.txt' file that is in the TLE folder.

Hi ! The space-track updating works fine, but unfortunately your program takes over all the stupid names from the space-track files (which is only annoying for the ham satellites - for the others I don't care) there some way to keep the "old" names that we were used from the Celetrak keplers ?

Hey Sebastian, Have you considered adding more satellites to the visual TLE file? I've noticed that there are some other visual satellites not in the visual file.

Dear Sebastian, Still a very great program. I hope you will implement the planets also in your program. I will use it for prediction,so i can dump all the other programs from my laptop. Many greetings from Assen, The Netherlands.

Navneeth, please send me your fixed translation. I have plan to make something special for supporting "favourites". Now you can use Save/Load Profile functions. Profile contain information about used TLE files, satellites loaded from them, tracked and active ones. So, I think it can help you.

A suggestion for 3.50... Hi, Once I got the translation part fixed, I have started enjoying this program. The predictions agrees with other sources and is quite detailed. I would like to see a feature in v3.50 wherein the user will be able to select a few satellites that will remain as "favourites". I think it is a bit tiring to select the file and satellite each time to get the predictions and the track on the map. Apart from this, the program does its job very nicely.Keep up the good work! Thanks, Navneeth Madras,India
